It seemed as though you should know this because when you first told your friend about you being pregnant it was a normal kind of thing to her and had even called planned parenthood for a friend in the past. I mean if sixteen year olds know and think planned parenthood isn't a big deal, you should know about the many ways to prevent pregnancy. I think sex should be a thing experimented during teen years, but it should also be something you can talk about with parents/guardians or just someone that knows what's up. Anyways I think it was awesome you brought the baby to term and successfully found a home for the baby. I think that should be a requirement before giving your baby up for adoption. Finding a home for it. If you would have died from bringing the baby to term I'd say have an abortion but I think more people should do what you did even if they have to deal with people pointing at their stomachs.
